Who Are
We?
a non-profit organization that provides food assistance and support to families in need in Johnson County Texas, ensuring that no one goes hungry.
What Do We Do?
We provide essential food assistance to over 400 families each month that are facing food insecurity as well as resources to get other assistance if needed. All while fostering a supportive environment rooted in Christ's love.

How Do We Serve?
Through our convenient drive-thru service which makes it easy for those in need to access nutritious meals and community resources. Just bring a current utility bill and your I.D and head up during our business hours to get assistance.
Alvarado Helping Hands for Jesus is works closely with Alvarado Schools, which support our food drives and events, as well as Johnson County Juvenile and Adult Probation, ROTC clubs, Booster Clubs, and Senior Citizen Facilities. Our partnerships extend to the Alvarado Animal Shelter and local animal and livestock rescues, the Alvarado Fire Department and other fire departments in Johnson County, organizations supporting disabled veterans, local businesses, work programs for individuals with disabilities, and various churches. Together, we create a strong network dedicated to uplifting those in need and fostering a spirit of community service throughout Alvarado and Johnson County.
